John Patrick Tobin, known as Johnny or Jackie (January 8, 1921 — January 18, 1982), was a professional baseball player. He played one season in Major League Baseball for the 1945 Boston Red Sox, primarily as a third baseman.
Tobin also had a long minor league baseball career, playing in the minors from 1942 until 1957. He played in the Pacific Coast League from 1948-57, mostly as an outfielder.
Johnny's brother Jim Tobin was a major league pitcher from 1937-45.
